Mornings have a quiet magic to them. The light is soft, the world is still waking, and the day stretches out full of possibility. Beginning slowly, on your own terms, can make the whole day feel more spacious.

Resist the urge to rush. Let the first part of your morning belong to you. Step outside for a breath of fresh air, water the garden, or simply sit with your thoughts and a warm drink before the day asks anything of you.

A short, pleasant ritual can become something to look forward to. Open the curtains and watch the light come in, jot down one thing you are grateful for, or listen to a favorite piece of music while breakfast cooks.

When you greet the morning gently, you carry that calm with you. The day may bring its tasks and surprises, but you will have started from a place of ease, and that makes all the difference.
